Break the Production Line: Bulk Install Plugins and Themes in One Go

Spending hours maintaining client sites?

WP Remote will streamline your WordPress maintenance process and save you at least 4 hours per site every week.

Break the Production Line: Bulk Install Plugins and Themes in One Go

When you manage dozens of your client sites, installing a new plugin or theme shouldn’t feel like a production line.

But it so often does. It’s that monotonous cycle of login, navigate, search, install, logout – and then repeat, 30 more times.

Why go through this mind-numbingly repetitive process that eats up hours of your bandwidth.

We want WP Remote to completely break that pattern for you. Here’s how you turn that assembly line into a simplified and precision bulk action.

Choose Your Sites with Ease

Access our sites dashboard and where you can see all your client sites, select the sites by ticking the boxes next to the sites you want to work on.

FYI – You can even filter your site list by client, tags, or status to find the right group in seconds.

Once you’ve made your selection, a simple bulk action bar appears at the bottom. This is your bulk action command center and from here, you’ll choose your next step.

Choose Your Workflow – Themes or Plugins

The bulk action bar enables you to manage wordpress users, manage wordpress, manage themes, and manage plugins options.

Let’s focus on Themes and Plugins for now.

While the tools are different, we designed the experience to be almost identical, so you never have to guess what to do next.

If you choose ‘Manage Themes’

You get to a themes inventory list, built to do two jobs perfectly: manage the themes you have, and install the themes you need.

To Manage Your Current Themes: You’ll see a clean list of every theme on your selected sites. Click on any theme to see which sites are using it and whether it’s active.

From there, you can make a quick change to one site, or select several to update, activate, or delete them in bulk with a single click.

To Install New Themes: You can easily browse the official WordPress directory or upload your own custom theme zip file.

After you bulk pick the themes you want, an installation summary helps you further select the sites you want them on, and check if you want to enable safe install and click install now, and you’re done.

If you choose ‘Manage Plugins’

The experience is intentionally familiar. You’ll see a unified list of all plugins on the selected sites.

Just like with themes, you can search the directory, find a plugin by name, or upload your own ZIP file.

Make your selections, and you’re ready to apply bulk actions.

Install with Confidence

Before WP Remote installs anything, you get a summary screen showing exactly what will be installed and where.

This is where you can Enable Safe Install – your built-in safety check that scans files, validates compatibility, and blocks malicious code before it ever reaches a client site.

It’s powered by the same underlying integrity system that drives Safe Updates, ensuring every action – whether install, update, or deletion – happens securely and predictably.

From Monotony to Momentum

What once took hours now takes minutes.

WP Remote turns site maintenance from repetition into momentum – the same philosophy that runs through our backups, security, staging, and client reports.

Together, they form one continuous workflow where you move faster, stay safer, and manage more client sites with less effort.
